I’m Captain Jonathan. Come join me for your first or next inshore fishing charter in the Pamlico, Albemarle, Croatan, or Roanoke Sounds. I live, breath, and work on these waters. Through spring, summer, and fall, I’m out on these waters fishing. Over the winter, I guide waterfowl hunters. I make every effort to know the fishes’ behavior to lead you to where they are so you can reel them in and take them home for dinner. I’m located on the banks of the Croatan, between the Pamlico and Albemarle Sounds; near Manteo, Wanchese, and Mann’s Harbor. A short distance to superb fishing grounds that are not congested with other anglers. Most fishing charters will be in the Roanoke Sound and northeastern portion of the Pamlico Sound. Captain Jonathan has quick and easy access to the Croatan Sound, the northwestern side of the Pamlico, and the Ablemarle Sound. Here there are fewer anglers and more redfish, flounder, bluefish, and speckled trout. Here you will find some of the best OBX inshore fishing along the Outer Banks. I’m proud to be your captain on your next OBX light tackle fishing charter.

Although seasonal, flounder fishing in September is amazing. The water is still warm following our summer here. The best tasting flounder is the one you catch. Some of the best fishing spots for flounder are here in the Pamlico or Albemarle Sounds.
These are a tasty fish but catching them is knowing where they are at. Knowing the lay of the bottom of the Sounds, is key to find where they are at. Also the technique to entice them to the bait. I provide the knowledge and experience the achieve both of these points.
